The study of marketing includes understanding how an organisation identifies and anticipates customers' needs, then organises resources to ensure that those needs are satisfied in a way that builds a long-term, mutually rewarding relationship between the customer and the organisation.
Macquarie University marketing degrees include economics and statistics as well as core marketing subjects. In the Bachelor of Commerce students also study economics and marketing, marketing and demographics, and psychology and marketing.
